Project overview
Fluidtime is part of the PKEquity Management GmbH for several years. During this time, there was close cooperation in UX design and various departments within PKE.
This project was about creating software for parking garages and parking tariffs. The most difficult part was making the complicated workflows easy to use. My job was to help the PKE department with the overall look and feel of the product and to support and provide assets for developers during the development phase.

Project insights
One of the biggest challenges was that it was very difficult for users to get started.
To use a parking tariff, you have to do a lot of different things to reach the goal: First, you need to set up locations where you can install individual devices. Then, you can create individual tariffs, which you can then combine as services.
The focus was therefore on minimising the entry hurdle with the help of a wizard that guides the user through the software.
Creating tariffs is also very complicated because there are so many different use cases to consider. I tried to give the user an easy-to-understand overview with a simple and clear user interface. But there is also a calculator function, which should make it easier for users to understand the calculations.
